Anker Solix Series

The "Solix Series" is a major overhaul of Anker's portable power stations. It not only offers a variety of models in different sizes but also features compact models that are considered higher-end versions of mobile batteries.

Product Features

Originally, Anker's portable power stations were called the "PowerHouse series" (later rebranded to the 7XX and 5XXX series), but the successor brand introduced was "Solix." The new series features refreshed design elements, including updated chassis designs and body color schemes, giving it a more sophisticated look.

Moreover, the Solix series includes models that fill the gap between portable power stations and mobile batteries, with options that are easy to use even for light users.

A major improvement is the extended warranty period. The Solix series has upgraded from the previous 18-month warranty to a "5-year warranty," bringing it in line with products from competing brands. This is largely due to the adoption of long-lasting lithium iron phosphate batteries across all models.

Advantages of Anker Solix

A Wide Range of Models That Fit Between Mobile Batteries and Portable Power Stations

In the portable power station category, the 200Wh class was traditionally considered the "smallest" standard.

However, for light users, even a 200Wh portable power station weighing over 3kg is often seen as "too heavy and inconvenient." Solix solves this issue by offering smaller models such as the C200 and C300. These products establish a new category: "larger capacity and output than mobile batteries, yet more portable and user-friendly than traditional portable power stations."

High USB Specifications

Another feature of the Solix series is its high USB specifications, which play to Anker's strengths.

Compared to other brands' portable power stations, Solix offers a wider range of supported USB Type-C input/output power standards. This makes it compatible with charging a variety of devices, and in some models, you can even charge devices at 100W or more through USB Type-C.

Maximizing the potential of USB Type-C devices is another major appeal of the Solix series.

Disadvantages of Anker Solix

Lack of Large-Capacity Models Over 1,000Wh

While the Solix series offers a range of compact models, it lacks larger capacity options. The largest model, the C1000, has a battery capacity of 1,056Wh. While this is sufficient for general use, those looking to set up an off-grid system at home may require models with capacities around 2,000Wh.

In previous series, models like the Anker 767 were available with 2,000Wh capacities, so we hope to see the lineup expanded to include more large-capacity options in the future.
